Shamelessly Aimless...............
Its been little over a month since I created my blog account but could'nt find the time to post anything. Don't get me wrong here, I am not trying to pose as a very busy individual (in hindsight the cldn't should have been a didn't - honestly), its just that I am too lazy to take out time for activities other than those absolutely imperative. All those who know me would instantly identify with my laziness but if you ask me, i totally blame my bong genes for it, by nature we are one of the laziest communities in the world. Although I have written anonymously in blogs before, having my own blogspace kinda makes it obligatory for me to post something regularly. There's a sense of committment towards posting and also little guilt for not being able to do so often.
Finally exams are over and I have nothing much to do. Have slept nearly 18 of the last 24 hours and now even the mere sight of the bed gives me an icky feeling! Guess its time i wrote my first blog, as I am fast running out of excuses too. So what should I write about. I always imagined my first blog to be a really cool one, about something very interesting. One that I could flaunt to my friends only to find their eulogies in the comments section, later on. But now that the moment has finally arrived, my imagination seems to have frozen and I am pretty sure this state shall prevail untill I hit the 'publish post' button. So I've decided I shall type all the random thoughts that come to my mind for the next few minutes.
Past two weeks have been really hellish! Slept 3-4 hrs a day, on an average , wishing for the vacation to begin ever so often. Its been a mad week with 3 finals, 2 papers and to top it all, a lame project proposal (god, I hate the very sight of official paperwork!). My buddies and I made real big plans for the following week. We decided on an entire line up of classic movies, junk food and last but not the least lotsa' booze. Three days have gone by since commencement of spring-break but nothing seems quite like what we'd planned. Seen quite a few movies already, and got sloshed the very first day, pretty much ensuring that I swore to stay away from alcohol for life (hint: life = next party; common male lingo). With the grades (grad student's crude reality check) slowly trickling in and nothing much to do, life now seems to have become like the Englebert Humperdinck classic, "When the night seems like day & the day seems like lifetime....." To add to the woes every other person seems to be headed somewhere for a vacation.
Oh! didnt realise I have almost typed a page long blog. Shall not more bore myself or the unfortunate few visitors anymore. Hopefully the next blog will be an interesting one, composed in a better frame of mind.......................Amen!
